Milwaukee 2210-20 Fluorescent Lighting Tester

Milwaukee Fluorescent Lighting Tester 2210-20

The Milwaukee Tool Fluorescent Lighting Tester is a reliable, easy-to-use solution for accurately troubleshooting fluorescent lamps, pins and ballasts. For commercial and industrial facility managers who rely on fluorescent lighting, the tester cuts maintenance time in half and maximizes cost control on fluorescent lighting repair and replacement.

The 2210-20 Fluorescent Lighting Tester works with all T5, T8 and T12 ballasts and fluorescent lamps with dual pins. This hand-held unit features dial and button operation for easy one-handed use, and a 2.5-ft. retractable antenna extends reach when testing ceiling-height installed fixtures.

This 3-in-1 testing solution includes separate testing sequences for lamps, ballasts and pins. In LAMP mode, it acts as a portable fluorescent ballast. Simply touch the antenna to any part of a lamp. If the lamp flickers, it is in good working order. In BALLAST mode the tester antenna is placed near either end of a powered fixture; in PIN mode the dual lamp pins plug directly into the bottom of the unit. The tester detects high-frequency voltage from ballasts, and tests for complete loops through the filament between dual pins; it responds with visible flashes and audible beeps to indicate that ballasts and pins are functioning properly. All tests are initiated by simply pressing and holding the TEST button.

Included with the Milwaukee Tool 2210-20 Fluorescent Lighting Tester are 4 AA alkaline batteries and a removable antenna adapter.
