The Terminator II TMCX Cable Gland from Eaton's Crouse-Hinds business lets contractors terminate cable in locations where water leakage, electricity, explosion and cable pullouts are particular hazards. Armoured barrier, TECK armoured, and unarmoured barrier glands cover all popular cables and hub sizes.

These cable glands feature a unique 2-piece integral union design that helps ensure correct assembly and provides simple, single-tool installation with minimal tightening and loosening of nuts. An anti-rotation feature includes a splined shaft so both pieces lock together without twisting the cable. A captive sealing and back nut includes slip rings for secure snap-in cable and component retention. A conical compound chamber allows installation with up to double the misalignment without binding. Highly durable nickel-plated brass and stainless steel parts, including a copper-flashed stainless steel captive garter spring, maximize connectivity, strength and corrosion resistance even in the harshest environments.

Crouse-Hinds also offers Chico® LiquidSeal, a rapid-curing liquid compound for use with Terminator II TMCX cable glands. This highly-engineered sealant mixes in 2 minutes and gels in 15-30 minutes*; when used for repairs, it provides a total return-to-service time of just 2 hours.* Each compound container has a built-in integral dam that facilitates fast liquid pour.
