Graybar Hayward Service Center is one of two regional service centers in California. The 132,000 square-foot facility is easily accessible from I-880, with will call pickup and stocked inventory in an on-site warehouse.

As we move further into the 21st century, rising electricity costs and environmental concerns have commercial operators and government agencies looking for comprehensive energy strategies. To answer the demand for energy solutions, Graybar takes the “smart” building to a new level. At the heart of our intelligent buildings is an advanced infrastructure of lighting, communications, HVAC, and security systems working inside of a single IP-enabled network. These solutions not only save on energy costs but have been proven to reduce maintenance costs and improve employee safety and productivity. Over 30 percent of energy used in commercial buildings is done so inefficiently, and we can help you to monitor, report on, control, and ultimately reduce that percentage.

A simple yet effective way to make the lighting in your building more energy efficient is a complete lighting retrofit. Retrofitting will also improve the quality of lighting and reduce heat emitted, thereby cutting air conditioning costs. Many electrical supplies swap out directly with older systems, using the same fixture housings and reducing project turn-around time and ceiling or wall repairs. Upgrading internal fixture components can yield energy savings of up to 67 percent, and we can help with the disposal and recycling of the aluminum louver, old lamps, ballasts, and bulbs in a safe and environmentally friendly way.
