Senior Lighting Specialist – GE Lighting

David is a Senior Lighting Specialist at the GE Lighting Institute and has been with GE for more than 30 years. He came to GE as a student co-op in HID engineering in 1981 and joined the company in a full time position in 1983 after graduating with an Electrical Engineering degree from Cleveland State University. In his career with GE Lighting, David has served as a Design Engineer for metal halide lamps, as a Project Leader in compact fluorescent lamps and as Product Service Engineer for HID lamps and ballasts. He is a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA) and is Lighting Certified (LC) by the National Council on Qualifications for Lighting Professionals (NCQLP). David joined the Lighting Institute staff in 2009.
