About the presenters:

Mike O’Connor, RCDD/NTS is Hubbell Premise Wiring’s Senior Director Datacom Marketing based in Shelton, CT. Mike started his career with Hubbell as an Electrical Engineer in 1991 and has held increasing responsibilities in both Engineering and Marketing throughout his 25 years at Hubbell. Mike has several patents on telecommunications products and over 30 years of industry experience. Mike’s industry participation includes: BICSI, IEEE, TIA and ISO.

Nate Herring is Hubbell Premise Wiring’s Senior Product Manager in charge of copper datacom and AV connectivity and is based out of Shelton, CT. Nate started his career with Hubbell in 1999 as Mechanical Engineer and has progressed to his current position in Marketing. Nate is a mechanical engineer with 10 patents and 17 years of design and industry expertise at Hubbell.

Scott Ziegenfus is Hubbell Lighting’s Manager of Government & Industry Relations based out of Greenville, SC. Scott has been in the Lighting industry since 1994, where he spent 22 years as Senior Engineer for Lutron Electronics Inc. Scott works in all areas and across all product lines within Hubbell Lighting to help drive the understanding of new and evolving standards and technologies. Scott’s industry participation includes: Co-Chair of the Educational Committee for BACnet International, ASHRAE, NEMA, Educational reviewer for USGBC Greenbuild Expo and IES committees for Controls & Protocols for Energy Management.
