California District Holds Annual Sparks for a Cure Fundraiser

The California District hosted its third annual Sparks for a Cure fundraiser to honor retiree and former member of Graybar’s Board of Directors Ken Sparks, who lost his life to pancreatic cancer in 2014. The fundraiser, which benefited the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PANCAN), included an on-course golf skills challenge as well as putting and chipping contests. But the main event was a silent auction that featured Olympics memorabilia from Natalie Coughlin, the most decorated female swimmer in Olympic history. Also auctioned were trips to St. Louis for baseball and hockey games and a trip to the WGC Bridgestone Invitational. Because of the generosity of all those who attended, the California District raised more than $18,000 for PANCAN.
