Time Scheduling

Scheduling Timer

Scheduling with time clock controls turns lights on and off, sets lighting levels for different times of day and changes the lighting profile for after-hours mode. More sophisticated systems also respond to signals sent from external control devices such as sensors or switches.

Time controls include 24-hour, 7-day calendar and astronomical dial timers. Electronic timers are flexible and multi-functional in controlling many lighting areas. Internal batteries in electronic timers retain the memory settings during power outages. Electric timers can also stagger the restoration of lighting loads to limit power surges.
