The Rugged, Space-Saving Cable-Tray Technology: The Itray from Legrand

Routing More & More Cables—In Less Space At Lower Costs

Cable-tray wiring systems are preferred over conduit wiring systems for a few reasons. When it comes to safety, dependability, space and cost—cable-tray systems are the clear winner. Installers, engineers and specifiers need cost-effective, space-saving cable-tray systems that deliver. The Itray from Legrand—the newest addition to the PW line of cable-tray products—is engineered with value-added features that streamline the engineering, purchasing and installation of cable tray. So you can focus on getting the job done right.

The Rugged, Space-Saving Cable-Tray Technology: The Itray from Legrand

The Next-Generation Cable-Tray Solution

The Itray—the replacement for Legrand’s C-Channel aluminum 4" to 7" side-rail height ladder-tray line—features a revolutionary design that makes splicing easy. Its all-aluminum design features space-saving I-beam construction and a side rail engineered with structural offsets and a matching splice.

The splices simply snap into place during installation and tray sections stay aligned while the installer inserts and tightens bolts. The Itray features round holes for easier field fabrication, and only four bolts are needed per splice. Installation is 30 percent faster than standard trays, with half the hardware. (With lower project costs, everyone wins.)

The I-beam side-rail design allows mid-span splicing while maintaining full NEMA load class. The Itray features a structural offset for a lighter, stronger tray. It also minimizes total tray widths, for installation in tight spaces and to keep attachment hardware in place. And a sturdy rung design means reduced twist and deflection under load.
