3M™ Fiber Dome Stubbed Terminal

The compact 3M™ Fiber Dome Stubbed Terminal FDST 08S is designed to be deployed in outside plant environments. The re-enterable hermetically sealed stubbed terminal/FDU can be deployed in aerial strand, pole, pedestal or handhole/vault applications in the following networks:

• FTTP Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) Network
• Mobile Fiber Backhaul Network
• Fiber Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Network
• Fiber fed Mobile Distributed Antenna System (DAS) Networks
• Fiber to the Business (FTTB) Networks

The FDST 08S terminal is available with up to 24 SC/APC or 24SC/UPC connectors. It can accept up to six 3M™ Factory Terminated External Cable Assembly Module (ECAM) Fiber Cable Assemblies (FCA) with 2, 4, or 6 connectors. The 3M Factory Terminated ECAM FCA Cable Assembly is a factory terminated cable assembly with connectors on one or both ends. The ECAM FCA is available with various connectors (SC, LC, & ST) and in lengths ranging from 100 to 1200 feet. They are shipped with a pulling sock to protect the cable assembly and to allow the cable assembly to be pulled through trees and conduit.
