Chicago District Donates Water to Flint

Employees in the Chicago District donated and organized the shipping of four pallets of water to the Flint Branch during the ongoing water crisis. Employees in Flint used the water both at the branch and in their homes. The Flint Branch now has a water filtration system installed to remove lead and other potentially harmful chemicals from the drinking water. With the new system in place, the Flint Branch donated a small portion of the water to local residents.
