Lighting Controls Outdoor lighting

Lighting controls aren't limited to indoor spaces – walkways, parking lots and garages and security areas can benefit from their energy and maintenance savings. Time switches can be used to schedule and manage outdoor lighting energy use, turning lights off according to time-of-day, while occupancy sensors can be set to switch off when daylight is sufficient or when motion is detected. Security systems can be integrated with lighting controls to highlight where activity is detected, drawing attention to potentially dangerous situations.
