Law enforcement agencies from across the nation are outfitting Mobile Command Vehicles with Pelco video security systems. These vehicles essentially act as movable police stations, designed to bring valuable resources to critical incidents. In Irving, Texas, both the Police and Fire Departments utilize their custom-built mobile command vehicles. Featuring a Pelco Esprit Integrated Positioning System, police report that the vehicle is a tremendous asset to their community, allowing public safety agencies to better respond to any large-scale event.

The Clovis, California Police Department is using theirs for a number of events, including a recent officer involved shooting. “In that kind of tactical environment, having this level of response is huge,” explains Clovis Police Captain Captain Bob Keyes.

Keyes “Inside of this unit we have complete control over every security camera in the city. There is no difference between being at headquarters or being inside of the mobile command vehicle. It's an incredible resource.”
