Graybar offers its customers, in conjunction with Veolia ES Technical Solutions, environmentally safe and cost-effective disposal of spent fluorescent lamps, ballasts and batteries as required by local, state and federal regulations. We coordinate the packaging, shipping and freight costs for the disposal of these items. In addition, we can provide MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) and tracking of this material once it has left your facility. For job sites, we can facilitate jobsite recycling solutions to support your waste reduction program.

Packaging and Waste Reduction

Packaging represents a large percentage of waste generated by companies and consumers. Graybar constantly looks for ways to reduce our customers' packaging waste by providing services such as reclamation of wire reels and pallets for reuse. We can also work with our customers to provide palletainers (wire mesh containers) which eliminate your need to handle the packaging waste of shipped products. Our wire and cable management services also benefit you by providing the mechanism for eliminating a large portion of the waste, surplus and damaged inventory so common on construction projects and in customer storeroom inventory.
